Field Day 2003
These few pictures are of our Group’s 2003 Field Day effort- the first time we operated a Class F station from the Clarksville-Montgomery County Chapter of the American Red Cross. The group learned much, especially that the building is old, and in order to have safe, reliable rig power it is best to draw it from outside the building. The group enjoyed Field Day from the Chapter- the bugs and tent set up were not missed.
As the pictures show, Sen Kurita was successful in finding the Field Day site- another distinct benefit of the Class F Field Day operation. As always, we managed to remain cordial throughout the event, focusing on the operating and not the score. Field Day is a key training event and enjoyed by all.

Minto;
Thanks for stopping by the site. We appreciate the feedback. I’d be happy to help you find some info on Amateur Radio Activities in the US. Two sources you can check out that will probably answer most of your questions are the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) at http://www.arrl.org and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) http://wireless.fcc.gov/services/index.htm?job=service_home&id=amateur
Thanks
Eric
